Verdant

"Lush, grounded, and quietly alive—like a forest floor after rainfall."

The Verdant ring evokes the richness of wild greenery with its deep green opal inlay shimmering with flashes of blue and teal. It’s earthy and elegant, vibrant without being loud—perfect for those who find peace in growth, nature, and quiet strength.

Material: White Ceramic

➤ Smooth. Natural. Balanced.
The white ceramic band offers a crisp, neutral frame that lets the inlay’s forest tones take the spotlight. Polished to a soft shine and naturally scratch-resistant, it brings a modern clarity to a timeless, organic palette.

If you genuinely have no idea, choose Not sure and add the full set of ring sizers (4-15) to your cart for $15. Ship them back when you are done and we refund it in full.

All US whole and half sizes from 4 to 15 are available.

Caring for your ring is easy, but it depends on what it is made of. Hardness is measured on the Mohs scale, where a diamond is 10.

Zirconium Ceramic (about 8.5) and Tungsten (about 9)

  • Very close to unscratchable in everyday wear. Almost nothing you meet day to day is hard enough to mark them, and they hold their polish for life.
  • The trade-off is brittleness. They resist scratching, but a hard strike or a drop onto tile or concrete can chip or crack them. Treat them as tough, not indestructible.
  • They cannot be resized or refinished, which is why getting the size right the first time matters.
  • In an emergency these rings can be safely cracked off the finger with vice grips, which many people consider a safety advantage over precious metals that have to be cut.

Titanium (about 6) and Stainless Steel (about 5.5)

  • Extremely tough and effectively unbreakable, but softer than ceramic or tungsten, so they will pick up fine scratches and a worn patina over time.
  • That patina is normal. These can be repolished, so scuffs are not permanent.
  • Best kept away from rough surfaces and heavy impact during work, lifting, or sport.

Every ring

  • The inlay is softer than the band. Opal, fossil and wood inlays deserve more care than the metal or ceramic around them.
  • Clean with a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Dry it fully.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners and harsh chemicals, especially acetone, which can damage inlays and finishes.
  • Take it off before swimming or showering, to keep it away from chlorine and to stop it slipping off.
  • Store it in a safe, dry place away from other jewelry so nothing harder can knock against it.

If your ring needs attention, reach out at support@formandforgedesigns.com. Titanium and stainless steel can usually be repolished. Ceramic and tungsten cannot be refinished, but we will always talk through the options with you.
