About this ring
Epoch
“From an ocean that closed before there was anyone to name it.”
This came from the mouth of something that made the ocean itself feel smaller.
Megalodon is gone.
The seas it hunted have changed. Coastlines moved. Seabeds became stone. Millions of years passed.
The tooth remained.
And in that time, the earth changed it—leaving behind storm grays, deep blues, rust, black, and mineral veins that belong to one fragment and one fragment alone.
Now part of that ancient predator rests against your hand.

We chose black ceramic because it makes the fossil feel as though it is still emerging from the deep.
The edges disappear. The darker colors sink into the band while lighter mineral veins break through it. Black ceramic is hard, remarkably light, and restrained enough to let the tooth carry all of the presence.

Care
Day to day
- Soft cloth and mild soapy water. Dry it fully.
- Take it off before swimming or showering.
- Store it apart from other jewelry so nothing harder knocks against it.
Keep away from
- Acetone, nail polish remover and solvents — they attack the clear coat protecting the inlay.
- Abrasive cleaners, polishing compounds and ultrasonic cleaners, for the same reason.
- Anything that would strike the band hard. Ceramic and tungsten resist scratching far better than metal, and chip rather than bend.

Shipping & returns
Exchanges — within 30 days of delivery, for any reason including a size that missed. Equal or lesser value at no charge; move up and you pay the difference.
Returns — within 30 days for a full refund, no restocking fee. The ring must come back unworn.
Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility. Pack it in a box, not an envelope — mail sorters destroy envelopes and a ring can be lost on the way.
Custom and engraved rings cannot be returned.

Not sure of the size?
Four ways to get close enough for our sizers to do the rest.
- Measure a ring that already fits that finger. Any jeweler will read it in a minute, or measure straight across the inside in millimeters.
- Wrap a strip of paper around the base of the finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure that length in millimeters.
- Most jewelers will size you for free, no appointment needed.
- Measure at the end of the day. Fingers are at their smallest in the morning and in the cold.
