About this ring

“It walked under a sky no one has ever seen.”
There is something almost impossible about holding this in your hand.
Once, it was part of a Tyrannosaur. It moved through a world that vanished millions of years before us, beneath unfamiliar stars, among creatures that now exist only as bones in stone.
Now a fragment of that world sits inside this ring.
Dark. Fractured. Unrepeatable.
No two pieces of fossilized bone carry the same pattern, the same color, or the same scars of time. Every ring is built around something the earth made once and will never make again.

We chose black ceramic because nothing here needed to compete with the fossil.
The polished band falls away around it, leaving the ancient color and fractured patterns suspended in darkness. Where tungsten gives Epoch weight, black ceramic gives it silence—light on the hand, stark against the bone, and almost invisible at the edges.
It doesn't feel displayed.

Care
Day to day
- Soft cloth and mild soapy water. Dry it fully.
- Take it off before swimming or showering.
- Store it apart from other jewelry so nothing harder knocks against it.
Keep away from
- Acetone, nail polish remover and solvents — they attack the clear coat protecting the inlay.
- Abrasive cleaners, polishing compounds and ultrasonic cleaners, for the same reason.
- Anything that would strike the band hard. Ceramic and tungsten resist scratching far better than metal, and chip rather than bend.

Shipping & returns
Exchanges — within 30 days of delivery, for any reason including a size that missed. Equal or lesser value at no charge; move up and you pay the difference.
Returns — within 30 days for a full refund, no restocking fee. The ring must come back unworn.
Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility. Pack it in a box, not an envelope — mail sorters destroy envelopes and a ring can be lost on the way.
Custom and engraved rings cannot be returned.

Not sure of the size?
Four ways to get close enough for our sizers to do the rest.
- Measure a ring that already fits that finger. Any jeweler will read it in a minute, or measure straight across the inside in millimeters.
- Wrap a strip of paper around the base of the finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure that length in millimeters.
- Most jewelers will size you for free, no appointment needed.
- Measure at the end of the day. Fingers are at their smallest in the morning and in the cold.
