About this ring
Machina
“Every machine begins as an idea someone refused to leave alone.”
There is something irresistible about a mechanism small enough to wear.
Tiny gears disappear beneath the surface. Teeth overlap. Metal catches the light. Color moves through the spaces between them until the whole ring feels less assembled than alive—as though some impossible little machine has been caught mid-motion.
Machina isn't about nostalgia.
It's about the impulse behind every workshop, every invention, every object taken apart just to understand why it works.

- We post that whole set — eight sizers, half a size apart. Free, and nothing to send back.
- Wear them for a day, then message us the one that fits.
Your 2–3 week build starts from that message, not from the day you ordered.

If our sizers say one thing and the finished ring still misses, we remake it. No fee.

Care
Day to day
- Soft cloth and mild soapy water. Dry it fully.
- Take it off before swimming or showering.
- Store it apart from other jewelry so nothing harder knocks against it.
Keep away from
- Acetone, nail polish remover and solvents — they attack the clear coat protecting the inlay.
- Abrasive cleaners, polishing compounds and ultrasonic cleaners, for the same reason.
- Anything that would strike the band hard. Ceramic and tungsten resist scratching far better than metal, and chip rather than bend.

Shipping & returns
Exchanges — within 30 days of delivery, for any reason including a size that missed. Equal or lesser value at no charge; move up and you pay the difference.
Returns — within 30 days for a full refund, no restocking fee. The ring must come back unworn.
Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility. Pack it in a box, not an envelope — mail sorters destroy envelopes and a ring can be lost on the way.
Custom and engraved rings cannot be returned.

Not sure of the size?
Four ways to get close enough for our sizers to do the rest.
- Measure a ring that already fits that finger. Any jeweler will read it in a minute, or measure straight across the inside in millimeters.
- Wrap a strip of paper around the base of the finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure that length in millimeters.
- Most jewelers will size you for free, no appointment needed.
- Measure at the end of the day. Fingers are at their smallest in the morning and in the cold.
