About this ring
Epoch
“It walked under a sky no one has ever seen.”
There is something almost impossible about holding this in your hand.
Once, it was part of a Tyrannosaur. It moved through a world that vanished millions of years before us, beneath unfamiliar stars, among creatures that now exist only as bones in stone.
Now a fragment of that world sits inside this ring.
Dark. Fractured. Unrepeatable.
No two pieces of fossilized bone carry the same pattern, the same color, or the same scars of time. Every ring is built around something the earth made once and will never make again.

We chose tungsten because Epoch needed weight.
The fossil is wild and ancient. The tungsten is exact—cold, polished, and almost impossibly hard. One carries the marks of deep time. The other gives them a stark, permanent frame.
Together, they feel less like jewelry and more like an artifact.

Band
Ceramic, Tungsten or Titanium
Stainless is 304. Titanium is Grade 4. Chosen for how they wear over decades, not how they photograph.
Finish
Sealed clear coat
A solid layer over the inlay. Nothing reaches it unless the coat is damaged first.
Fit
Comfort interior
Rounded inside edge, so it slides on and sits without biting.

Care
Day to day
- Soft cloth and mild soapy water. Dry it fully.
- Take it off before swimming or showering.
- Store it apart from other jewelry so nothing harder knocks against it.
Keep away from
- Acetone, nail polish remover and solvents — they attack the clear coat protecting the inlay.
- Abrasive cleaners and polishing compounds, for the same reason.

How wide is 8mm?
The same ring in all three widths, so the number means something before you choose.
- 8mm is our most popular width and the one most people picture when they think of a wider band.
- 6mm sits between the two — noticeable, but easy to forget you are wearing.
- 4mm is the slimmest we make, and the usual choice for a narrower hand or a quieter ring.
- Fit changes with width, so size with the same width you are buying.
Not sure of the size?
Four ways to get close enough for our sizers to do the rest.
- Measure a ring that already fits that finger. Any jeweler will read it in a minute, or measure straight across the inside in millimeters.
- Wrap a strip of paper around the base of the finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure that length in millimeters.
- Most jewelers will size you for free, no appointment needed.
- Measure at the end of the day. Fingers are at their smallest in the morning and in the cold.
